This is to inform that we have confirmed the following phenomenon with some of our interchangeable lenses for Sony E mount mirrorless cameras that are compatible with the AF assist function of the camera.
Symptom
We found the focus position moves when the camera’s AF assist function is set to “off” and the focus ring is turned to adjust the focus.
Models Concerned
- 20-40mm F/2.8 Di III VXD（Model A062） for Sony E mount
- 50-400mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD（Model A067） for Sony E mount
- 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD（Model A057） for Sony E mount

This phenomenon will be addressed in a firmware update in coming days.
