SAFRA X TAMRON VIDEO CONTEST MECHANICS
Β Rules & Regulations
- Video Theme: βYou In Singaporeβ – According to the video theme, your video MUST feature yourself.
- Video Format: Video must be filmed in landscape mode and must be uploaded on YouTube or Vimeo in one of these file formats: .mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi, .flv, .3gpp. For all other file types, please convert to .mp4 before submitting your video.
- Video Duration: NOT more than 1 minute long.
- Originality: Entries MUST be original and not be used previously for submission in other competitions or be faced with disqualification.
- Language: Entries can be in any language. However, all non-English scripted entries MUST include English subtitles.
- Content: Entries should be done in good taste, and must not contain, nor be connected with, any obscene, blasphemous, libelous, offensive, pornographic or otherwise unlawful or inappropriate material or activity, including but not limited to references to trademarks, logos or branding of any names, products or services of a third party. The organiser shall reserve the right to reject or disqualify any entry that is deemed to be inappropriate.
- Copyright: Entries must not infringe any Intellectual Property Rights. If the entries use copyrighted music, video or images under license or with permission, these must be clearly stated.
- Copyright: Participants must ensure that there is no plagiarism or violation of copyrighted work. Permission must be granted from the original creator or copyright owner if any non-original elements (such as supporting photographs, images, screen shots etc.) are used.
- The organiser shall be entitled to use the materials contained in the entries, in full or partially, to advertise or publicise in various media of its choosing, including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, publications, radio, television, public screenings and any other electronic media including, but not limited to, the Internet, or for other purposes in a manner it deems fit.
Submission
- The contest period is from 20 April 2022 β 31 July 2022. All entries must be submitted by 31 July 2022, 2359hrs to be eligible.
- You may upload your entries on either YouTube or Vimeo platforms. Please ensure that the video privacy setting is set to βPublicβ or βUnlistedβ, allowing the panel of judges to view the video.
- File Naming Convention: To ensure that your entry is received successfully, please label your email subject in this format: <Theme> – <Full Name of Content Creator> and provide the YouTube or Vimeo link to your video in the email body.

Judging Criteria
The judging panel from Tamron Japan, SAFRA Digital Media Club and SAFRA Photographic Club will access the entries based on the following criteria and parameters:
